Lucas first picked up the guitar when he was 14-year-old, and by the time he had turned 15, he had puzzled together a band that consisted of his childhood friends. After high school, Lucas attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, where he graduated in 2023. It was during this time that he took the leap into creating his own original music, putting the last few years down on paper. His rise in the Texas music scene culminated in winning the 2024 Chilifest Battle of the Bands, securing a spot at the prestigious Chilifest Music Festival. In a Texas music scene where conformity can sometimes reign, Lucas stands out by creating a fresh, organic sound that defies easy categorization. Sharing the stage with artists like Randy Rogers Band.
